Second Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Battle Royale Map Out Today

Fans of the Blackout battle royale mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be delighted to know that there’s a new map out today. This is the second map for the battle royale mode. Titled Alcatraz, the map is rolling out for players on the PlayStation 4 starting today. It will be released for other platforms later.

Fans of the franchise will know that this isn’t the first time that Call of Duty has based a map on the infamous Bay Area prison. The Mob of the Dead zombies map is also sent on the prison and there will be zombies for players to fight in the Blackout mode map as well.

A trailer has been released which shows that players will also be able to use a flamethrower to emerge victorious over their enemies. The map itself is slightly smaller that the standard Blackout map which came with the game. The gameplay will have players fighting for survival amid close quarters among buildings and watchtowers. Players will also be fighting inside through the tight corridors and the prison cells.

There’s also a free trial of the Blackout mode for players who have yet to try it out. Players who have an Xbox Live or PlayStation Plus subscription will be able to play the mode free for the rest of the month starting today.
