Twitch’s First Game Is A Karaoke Title Built For Livestreaming

Twitch, the company primarily known for its game streaming service, has now launched its first game after months of testing. Twitch Sings is a karaoke game that’s built for livestreaming. The title is available for free worldwide and will enable players to basically showcase their singing talents in front of a global audience.

Twitch Sings is available for free on Windows PC. The title was announced by Twitch CEO Emmett Shear during his keynote address at TwitchCon Europe. This game was originally revealed at TwitchCon 2018 back in October last year. The company developed this game in partnership with Harmonix Music Systems.

Twitch Sings does have an offline mode as well incase you don’t want to entertain a global audience with your vocals. Despite that, Twitch has developed this game from the ground up so that players involve an entire Twitch channel and basically take everyone along for the ride.

It’s possible for streamers to invite broadcasters for duets while viewers will be able to request them to sing a song out of the over 1,000 available in the library. They can also cheer to start light shows or give players fun challenges to do as they sing along to their favorite tracks.
