3D Printed iPhone 11 Mockups Shows Us What To Expect

With last year’s iPhones being more or less a rehash of the iPhone X’s design, it is expected that Apple could introduce a new design for its iPhones this year. We don’t really know what to expect, although earlier, alleged production molds of the 2019 iPhones have given us a clue as to what we might be able to expect.

Now thanks to the folks at Mac Otakara, they have managed to get their hands on 3D printed models of the 2019 iPhones that clue us in a bit further. As the publication notes in their video, these 3D printed models aren’t actually the iPhone XI or XI Max, but rather they were printed based on leaked schematics which were believed to be accurate.

What this means is that you should probably take it with a grain of salt for now, although at the same time, we have to admit that they do look somewhat believable. The camera setup on the back of the phones also look somewhat familiar as they are similar to the previous leak, so at the very least the leaks and rumors are consistent.

Apart from the camera, the 2019 iPhones don’t look too different from last year’s models, and that any differences you see in the video above could simply be due to the 3D printing process. So if you were hoping for a major revamp, you might be disappointed.
