Details Of Apple’s Upcoming iOS 13 Update Leaked

Come June, Apple is expected to officially announce the next major update to its iOS platform. This update more likely than not will be iOS 13, and now thanks to leaked details obtained by Bloomberg, additional information about the upcoming update and its changes have found their way online.

WIth iOS 12, Apple seemed to be focused more on improving the overall quality of iOS, which the company was heavily criticized for in its iOS 11 release. As such, it did not feel like the most exciting update. However, iOS 13 is expected to bring quite a few changes to the table. According to the report, this includes new features such as dark mode (something that Google is bringing to Android Q), redesigned widgets, new animations, and it will also speed up older iPhones and iPads.

What’s also interesting is that the report claims that Apple could for the first time ever update the keyboard in iOS. The latest time we saw any changes was when Apple finally allowed third-party keyboards, but with iOS 13, Apple is rumored to be introducing a native swipe-like feature. This means that instead of tapping on individual keys, users can swipe through the keyboard instead, which some might argue could be faster.

Take it with a grain of salt for now, but iOS 13 will be revealed at WWDC 2019 in June, so do check back with us in the coming weeks if you’d like the details.
