Early Gameplay Footage Of Final Fantasy VII Remake Released
Given the classic status of Final Fantasy VII, there is no doubt that there are many gamers who are eagerly anticipating its release. When exactly that will be remains to be seen (some claim 2023), but in the meantime, it seems that Square Enix has decided to grace us all with some gameplay footage from the upcoming game.
We should note that as per the trailer, they point out that this is development footage meaning that what you see now will not be the final product. There is a chance that certain animations, graphics effects, or skills will be changed and adjusted before the final release, but it does give us an insight as to how far along the game development is.
Many were a bit concerned about the state of the game since Square Enix announced it, but last year the company announced that things were moving along just fine. Square Enix had also previously admitted that their announcement was made a bit too early, but hopefully the company will have something more concrete to share soon.
According to Yoshinori Kitase, the Producer of Final Fantasy VII Remake, “We are preparing to release more official information in June, but we wanted to try something new here on State of Play by showing you this special trailer as a taste of what’s to come. Stay tuned for more updates about the Final Fantasy VII Remake in the future!”
