Amazon Fire TV Picks Up Support For Apple Music

Apple Music has gradually been making its way to more platforms. Amazon’s Echo speakers picked up support for the music streaming service in December last year, allowing users to stream music from the service on-demand. It’s now possible for Amazon Fire TV users to do the same.

Starting today, Apple Music subscribers in the United States can play their music on the big screen through an Amazon Fire TV streaming box and stick. The company says that it will be possible for Echo and Fire TV device owners in the United Kingdom to do the same in the next few weeks.

It’s possible for Fire TV Cube owners to use Apple Music with their multi-room music setups as well. There’s no shortage of music streaming options for Fire TV owners. There’s Amazon Music, obviously, Spotify, iHeartRadio, and others. Nevertheless, this is a nice addition for Fire TV owners, who have already been able to stream music from Apple Music on an Echo device.

Users who have already linked their Apple Music account to Alexa don’t need to do anything else in order to start streaming music on a Fire TV device. It should work on its own and they will be able to stream music via Apple Music on their device right away.
