GameStop Allows Game Returns For Full Credit Within 48 Hours Of Purchase
A new promotion has been launched by GameStop which lets customers return a game for full store credit provided they do so within 48 hours of having purchased it. This is a challenge many serious gamers would love to accept as they would essentially binge-play the title to complete it before the 48 hours are up so that they can return it for full store credit and do the same thing for a new title all over again.
GameStop is calling this program “Guarantee to Love It” and it will be launched next week alongside Days Gone. The promotion window will apply in the first week of a game’s arrival only and the retailer will specify at various times which games are eligible for this promotion.
Days Gone is going to be released on April 26th and customers will be able to claim a full refund in store credit if they purchase it between April 25-28th. If they want, they can trade the open item back for the store credit without any deductions.
The retailer hasn’t confirmed at this point in time which other titles might be added to this program. Though I’m sure many gamers would prefer that it starts offering this promotion for a lot more titles.
