GOAT Uses AR To Let You Preview Sneakers Before Launch
A lot of people are really passionate about their sneakers and GOAT, a secondary sneaker seller, is now offering a new augmented reality-based feature which will enable people to preview new sneakers before they’re launched. Other companies have also used AR for something similar but GOAT users will have the ability to preview the sneakers before they’re actually launched.
Those who are into sneakers will already know that GOAT is one of the biggest operators in the secondary sneaker market. The company recently revealed that it has some 12 million users and around 150,000 sellers. This means that a lot of users will now be able to take advantage of the augmented reality platform to get up close with the shoes they have been looking to purchase before they even hit shelves.
GOAT’s augmented reality platform launches a highly anticipated upcoming shoe available for preview. It’s the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG ‘Mocha’ which can be previewed on the app starting today. The sneakers will hit the market on May 11th.
Users can access the app’s augmented reality platform on iOS by first updating the GOAT app through the homepage. For users on Android, they can check out the sneakers in AR through the shoe’s product page.
