January update is rolling out for the Samsung Galaxy A5 2017
Right on time rolling out the January update is now out for Samsung’s Galaxy A5 from 2017. The update brings the latest security patch, but no further changes.
Galaxy A5 2017 update January 2019
Samsung released the latest Galaxy A5 almost two years ago, in January 2017. And as promised, the unit clean monthly with the latest security patches – there is tentative probably not change. In any case, arriving there today also another one.
A spacious 170MB major update install firmware version A520FXXU7CRL8 on the Galaxy A5. This contains, besides some small optimizations, the patch of January. It contains 30 fixes from Google for the Android OS, and – for the A5, 2017 – three improvements to Samsung’s own software.
Availability
You can get the update now OTA – Over The Air, directly on the device – install if you have a original Dutch, unbranded Galaxy A5 2017. If you have a branded toestelversie, directly to a provider was bought, or a Belgian model, then you need to have some patience.
Basically start the download of the update package by itself, without any need to do. You will want not to wait, and check whether the update already exists on your A5 can install? Then go into the Settings to Software update and select Updates manually, download.
