Nature inspires the decor !

Last week, I went in search of inspiration for our balcony at botanic®. I went to the store to Rueil Malmaison because it is at the foot of the RER HAS, very useful when there is “Mercy, 31 years old, still no driving licence” !

And among the terrariums, beautiful cacti and beautiful plants that contain the shops, botanic®, I discovered the corner deco. The current collection is called ” when nature inspires the decor “. And as its name indicates, the accessories allow you to prolong the effect urban jungle-up on the plaid !

Home : where are the plants ?

Originally, I wanted to go to botanic® to find ideas for our balcony. In fact, in the apartment that we have maintained now for more than 2 months, we are fortunate to have a balcony giant. This is the room the bigger of the apartment ! And for this summer we are planning a lot of planting to make it especially nice. But as we have never had outdoor space before we don’t really know where to start.

The season does not lend itself to gardening activities but it is taking the lead to ensure a beautiful balcony this summer. We are already some want an olive tree and we have already planted our Christmas tree. For the rest, we allow ourselves to procrastinate a little !

Next to indoor plants, the work was cruel. For the moment only our monstera due to the resistance. Being still without floors, so waiting for a new dust storm in the weeks to come, this is still not the time to replant.

In short, in me, on the terrace as the living room, there is a lack of greenery. It is perhaps for this reason that the new collection botanic® “nature inspired decor” I was so challenged.

Nature inspires the decor by botanic®

The concept is simple : nature print, transfer and color elements of the decoration. Back to beautiful products to the silhouettes or the natural pattern.

To make the a lot of plants without having the green hand, one can adopt the collection Olaf. The print is a floral design, nostalgic, largely inspired by the years 60 and 70. The motif recalls the designs of Orla Kiely. I instantly stowed away in my basket to bring a touch of vegetable in my interior, waiting for the return of the real plants. It brings a lot of cheerfulness.

There was also the collection Piléa that I liked a lot. It is more timeless than Olaf, and, most importantly, it honors the Pilea Involucrata, cushion of one of my favorite plants : pilea peperomioides.

The colors for this line are softer. It will be ideal if you want to have fun without to add too much color.
