LG Unveils 31.5-inch 4K Monitor With USB-C
Thanks to LG’s partnership with Apple, the company has in the past put out a couple of UltraFine displays catered towards Mac users. These monitors came in 21.5-inch and 27-inch offerings, but in case those sizes are still not big enough for you, not to worry as LG might have something bigger for you.
The company has recently announced in Japan a 31.5-inch 4K display in the form of the 32UL750-W. This display will feature a 4K LCD panel and will also sport USB-C ports which will allow users to easily connect their MacBooks to it. Other features include a 3,000:1 contrast ratio, HDR10, 100% sRGB color gamut, and 95% DCI-P3. It also boasts a refresh rate of 60Hz and will support AMD’s FreeSync technology that should prevent image tearing.
As far as connectivity goes, like we said the display will support USB-C. There are also other connectivity options such as DisplayPort 1.2 and two HDMI 2.0a connections in case you don’t have a USB-C device. There are also two USB 3.0 ports, a headphone jack, and built-in speakers. At the moment it seems that the display is announced in Japan but when it does arrive stateside, a listing on BHPhoto has pegged it at $750, making it a pretty affordable purchase.
