LG V50 5G ThinQ Pricing Revealed

At MWC 2019, LG took the wraps off two brand new handsets in the form of the LG G8 and the LG V50 ThinQ. Recently LG had confirmed that the LG G8 would be going on sale come 11th of April, but if you’re more interested in the LG V50 ThinQ, then you might be interested to learn that the handset’s pricing and availability has since been announced.

However, we should note that the pricing and availability of the handset seems to be for the South Korean market, which means that when it launches stateside could be a different date, but hopefully it should be soon. The handset is expected to be available come 19th of April where it will cost around $1,050 after conversion.

Note that this is the 5G model which means that we expect that it will be a little more expensive compared to non-5G handsets. This was the same case with the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G where the variant ended up costing about $100-$200 more than the non-5G Galaxy S10 handsets.

Now one of the unique features of the LG V50 is that it comes with an optional secondary display that sort of turns the phone into a foldable handset. This accessory is sold separately but it seems that as part of a promotion that LG is running, they will be giving customers the accessory for free as long as they purchase the handset by May.
