Microsoft Outlook’s New Design Is Rolling Out To All iOS Users

Last year Microsoft announced that they would be revamping the design of its Outlook app on iOS. The roll out of the updated designed was a bit slow at the start, but now it seems that the update is available to all. This is according to a tweet by Michael Palermiti, Microsoft’s product lead for Outlook on iOS.

According to Palermiti, “As of today the rollout of the new @Outlook for iOS design is now available to all users! Thank you for all of the feedback, keep it coming!” If you’re an iOS user who has yet to receive the new design, just fire up the App Store app where the update should be there waiting for you.

If you have automatic updates enabled, it should update itself in due time but you can always do it manually in case you can’t wait. The update brings about a refreshed design to the app, giving it a brighter shade of blue and also making the text more legible. Some elements of the UI have been rearranged so it might take some getting used to, but other than that the app should still function very much the way you remember.

Microsoft had previously stated that dark mode would be a feature of the app but it seems that it was not part of this update.
