Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Could Be The Company’s First Button-less Phone

Samsung has been sort of playing it safe with the design of their smartphones (save for the Galaxy Fold which was actually a rather bold move). However with the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 10, the company could be making some changes which could potentially see the removal of all physical buttons.

This is based on a report from ET News (via SamMobile) in which it has been suggested that the Note 10 could actually do away with all physical buttons on the phone. This is a bit questionable especially since Samsung had previously made quite a big deal with the dedicated Bixby button.

That being said, button-less smartphones aren’t necessarily new. We have seen attempts by companies such as HTC, where in the past the company had launched phones that could be interacted with by squeezing the sides of the device. It is a rather novel solution and we’re honestly not sure if Samsung is quite ready to make that leap just yet.

Meizu had also previously proposed a similar handset, although the crowdfunding efforts by the company kind of fell flat with the company later claiming that they were just “messing about”. In any case it’s probably best to take this with a grain of salt for now, especially since we are quite a long ways away from the Note 10 being launched.
