Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Could Come With A Whopping 64MP Camera Sensor
According to recent rumors, it has been suggested that the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 could be launched with a quad camera setup. This will make the phone similar in terms of a camera setup to the 5G version of the Samsung Galaxy S10. Now it seems that we might have more clues as to what kind of camera the phone could be packing.
In an announcement by Samsung, the company has unveiled a couple of new image sensors in the form of the 64MP ISOCELL Bright GW1 and the 48MP ISOCELL Bright GM2, which according to Samsung will aid in “ultra-high resolution” mobile photography. It will use Samsung’s Tetracell technology to help with pixel-merging and a remosaic algorithm to help produce bright images in low-lights, and highly-detailed images under better lighting conditions.
Yongin Park, Executive Vice President of sensor business at Samsung Electronics says of the new sensors, “Over the past few years, mobile phone cameras have become the main instrument for recording and sharing our everyday moments. With more pixels and advanced pixel technologies, Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 and GM2 will bring a new level of photography to today’s sleekest mobile devices that will enhance and help change the way we record our daily lives.”
Now, there is no guarantee that these are the sensors that will be making their way into the Note 10, but it would be silly of Samsung not to take advantage of their own technology, but we’ll have to wait and see.
