Samsung Galaxy S10 Updated With Dedicated Night Camera Mode
One of the features of the Samsung Galaxy S10 is how it comes with a feature called Bright Night. For those unfamiliar, it is basically Samsung’s answer to Google’s Night Sight mode on its Pixel 3 smartphones, but the only problem is that it is an automated feature where it enables itself in extremely low-light situations.
While we suppose that’s not a bad idea, we understand that users might want to have control over their cameras. The good news is that according to a report from SamMobile, Samsung has started to roll out an update to its Galaxy S10 smartphones where they are now introducing a dedicated Night camera mode.
This Night mode will feature the same image quality that one might expect from Bright Night, except that now the feature is fully in your control. This means that you can activate and use it whenever you want instead of relying on Bright Night to activate itself. The update has been pushed out in Switzerland but we expect that it should eventually start finding its way to other countries and customers soon enough.
That being said, our review of the Samsung Galaxy S10’s camera has shown that it is more than capable of handling its own in the dark. However, with there being a dedicated Night mode, it should now help users take better photos in the dark.
