While the first-gen Google Glass wasn’t exactly a smashing success (perhaps it was too much ahead of its time), Google has since had some luck with Google Glass finding its way into the enterprise sector. In fact it appears that Google could be working on a second-gen Google Glass Enterprise Edition if the recent leaks are to be believed.

In a post on Technoblog (via 9to5Google), it seems that the second-gen Google Glass Enterprise Edition has found its way online. Based on the images and assuming that they might be the real deal, one of the main changes we see that Google has made is change the use of the magnetic pin system used for charging and transferring data. Instead it seems that Google has decided to go with something a little more standard with USB-C.

While the photos don’t tell us what else we might be able to expect, earlier benchmarks of the device revealed that it could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset, have an integrated LTE modem, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi, a 32MP camera, 3GB of RAM, and will be powered by Google’s very own Android 8.0 Oreo platform.

There is no word on when the device will be launched, but we’ll keep an eye out for the details, although chances are you might not be able to buy it since it will be aimed mostly towards enterprise users.
