Steinway’s Spirio R Grand Piano Can Record Your Live Performances

These days thanks to recording equipment being more affordable and accessible, along with there being various software options to consider, the ability to record and produce high quality music in the comfort of your bedroom is more than possible. However it seems that Steinway & Sons wants to make it even more convenient.

The company has recently taken the wraps off its latest piano, the Steinway Spirio R. This is a piano that comes with a built-in iPad Pro and an accompanying app that will allow musicians to record their performances easily, even if they are playing live in front of an audience without the need for a complicated setup.

Steinway & Sons is a brand pretty well-known amongst musicians as being the maker of good quality pianos, and in recent years the company has also been trying to keep up with the times by releasing pianos with new technology built into them. The Steinway Spirio series is an example of that, where previous models allowed users to select songs from a catalog of music on an iPad app to playback.

That being said, it is unclear how much Steinway & Sons plans to charge for the Spirio R. The company’s pianos do not come cheap to begin with, and with more tech being built into it, don’t be surprised if it ends up costing you a small fortune.
