Twitter’s Threaded Replies Now Available In Public Beta

Last year it was revealed that Twitter was testing out a new feature in the form of threaded replies. The good news is that if you enjoyed the idea of threaded replies on Twitter, you’ll be pleased to learn that the company has rolled out a public beta for the feature where users who are interested can take part in it.

If you are interested, you can head on over here to fill out the form to participate in Twitter’s prototype program. There is no guarantee that you will be accepted, but if you are, then you will be able to look forward to participating in various betas that Twitter has planned, including the threaded replies feature we just mentioned.

For those who are hearing about this for the first time, the threaded replies feature will offer up a cleaner look when users are replying to tweets. Right now the current interface doesn’t make it particularly obvious and if you’re not a seasoned Twitter user, it might be confusing. However the new threaded replies will make it look a bit more like Reddit which makes it cleaner, although judging by the feedback some users had when it was initially tested back in August, not everyone is a fan.

We imagine that the company will probably be taking the feedback of its users into account before the final release, but what do you think of it in its current iteration? Yay or nay?
